WOMAN IN THE DUNES

Based on the famous novel by KOBO ABE.

This multidimensional production immerses the viewer in the flow of images, continuously created with the intersection of visuals and sound, the combination of dramatic framework and motional embodied monologue. In the whirlwind of multimedia elements, a nonverbal dramaturgy is born. Millions of grains of sand pour out as thoughts and meanings.

Through the prism of acting and inimitable body movements, the acquired patterns of human behaviour seek to reveal themselves. In real time, at the junction of sound and video, from the sand dune the spirit of tragedy of modern man arises. Disconnected and inevitably lonely, he inexorably is seeking to find true freedom of spirit.
